After leaving Thursday night's game early with what was ruled an upper-body injury, Vincent Trocheck will not play in tonight's rematch with the Penguins in Pittsburgh and is now considered week-to-week.

Jusso Parssinen, who has not played yet this season will slot into the lineup in Trocheck's place on the left side of the third line with Taylor Raddysh and Noah Laba down the middle. This comes as the Rangers' first lineup change of the season. This also means Alexi Lafrenière will slot in on the top power play unit in his place.

As is par for the course with the NHL, we don't know much about the injury beyond the fact that it's upper-body. Trocheck has been sporting a full face shield since taking a puck up high during training camp. It's unclear whether there's any connection between the injuries.

While it's an unfortunate situation for Trocheck in the Rangers, it does come as an opportunity for Parssinen. Here's what he had to say on that:

The Rangers will face-off against the Penguins tonight at 7 p.m. before heading back home for an outing with the Washington Capitals tomorrow night.
