It's back-to-back games for the New York Rangers, and they are looking to come away with a win after falling to the Anaheim Ducks. This will mark the second game the Vancouver Canucks play since trading their former captain, Quinn Hughes. In their first game without him, they came away with the victory against the New Jersey Devils, where Zeev Buium, one of the key returns in the deal, had a goal and an assist.

After being scratched against the Ducks for missing a team meeting, Mika Zibanejad will return to the lineup. Marco Rossi, another player in the return for Hughes, has been on injured reserve but will make his Canucks debut today. The Canucks remain banged up despite Rossi playing and are still without Elias Pettersson and Filip Chytil.

Player to Watch: Mika Zibanejad

The way Zibanejad responds to being scratched in the team's previous game is critical to the Blueshirts' success against Vancouver and for the remainder of the season. Will this light a fire under him, or will this cause him to check out?

Zibanejad has been one of the team's best players of late with 13 points in his last 12 games, and his absence was noticeable in the loss to Anaheim. The way Zibanejad comes out and plays today is imperative to the success of the Rangers, and as they sit on the fence of a playoff spot, they need all they can get from him.
