The New York Rangers will conclude their nine game road trip tonight as they take on the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena, starting at 7:00 PM. The Rangers will be without Henrik Lundqvist once again, as he continues to rehab his injury, and is hopeful to return for the home opener on Monday. That means Cam Talbot will be getting his second straight start, and this one being against a very strong Red Wings squad.
Mats Zuccarello will also be back in the lineup tonight in favor of Brandon Mashinter, as he looks to give the Rangers an offensive spark they have been searching for.
Player To Watch:
Zuccarello was a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers, which was based solely off of his poor performance to start the year. Hopefully it was the kick start Zuccarello needed as he will be counted on to bring some offensive back into the lineup.
