Open Thread: Stanley Cup Playoffs Day 23
Welcome to Day 23 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and it’s definitely a pivotal night in both the East and the West.
- The Washington Capitals look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead against their eternal foil the Pittsburgh Penguins and will have to do so with Noted Bad Player and Professional Concussion Dispenser Tom Wilson who was suspended 3 games for his hit on Zach Aston-Reese in Game Three that resulted in a concussion and a broken jaw for Aston-Reese.
- In what has been, hands down, the best series of the playoffs so far the Winnipeg Jets and Nashville Predators try to once again up the ante on just how fun playoff hockey can be. The Jets look to go up 3-1 heading back to Nashville, while the Predators look to go home with a 2-2 split. /
This should be a rather interesting night of hockey, strap in and enjoy!
