Rangers vs. Blackhawks Open Thread

The New York Rangers are looking to build off their 6-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday and string a win streak together. The Chicago Blackhawks, on the other hand, are looking to snap their losing skid; they’ve lost their last four games, but have collected two points over the span in overtime against the Calgary Flames and Vegas Golden Knights.

Tonight they face off for the second time this season, this time at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers fell 4-1 to the Blackhawks earlier this season, on October 25.

The Rangers are currently 24th in the league with a 19-20-7 record and 45 points, while the Blackhawks are 30th with 41 points from their 16-23-9 record.

There won’t be any changes to the lineup after the Rangers’ win over the Hurricanes. Ryan Lindgren will skate in his second NHL game on Kevin Shattenkirk’s left again, while Tony DeAngelo will stay on Marc Staal’s right. Henrik Lundqvist will be in net for the Rangers. On the other side of the ice, the Blackhawks will have Collin Delia in the crease.
